Condition Before Installation: Even a Brand-New Vehicle Requires Careful Attention😲
【Issues Unique to Brand-New Vehicles】
Because the vehicle had only recently been delivered, there were almost no noticeable scratches.
However, when inspected by professionals, we found several issues that are common even on new vehicles🔍
First, we identified several fine storage and transportation marks that had developed while the vehicle was being moved from the factory to the dealership or stored before delivery.
This is a common issue with brand-new vehicles😅
Minor scratches can occur during pre-delivery washing at the dealership or when protective covers rub against the paintwork during storage.
【Iron Contamination and Mineral Scale💦】
We also found iron particles bonded to the body surface.
Even brand-new vehicles can collect iron contamination during transportation⚠️
Saitama Prefecture is located near several industrial areas, so iron contamination cannot be ignored in Kuki City or the Fukaya and Kumagaya areas.
Mineral scale—deposits formed by water spots and accumulated contamination—was also visible💧
This can be caused by minerals remaining from tap water used during pre-delivery washing or by contamination collected while the vehicle was stored.
【Roof Box and Spare Tire🔧】
The customer’s Jimny Nomade had a roof box installed and a spare tire mounted on the rear door.
If these components remained in place, it would be impossible to treat the concealed areas thoroughly🚫
The customer was concerned and asked, “Isn’t it difficult to remove the roof box and spare tire?”
However, because we aim to complete every installation thoroughly, we carefully removed both components before beginning the work💪✨
During Installation: Careful Work Without Compromising on Any Detail🔧✨
Step 1: Carefully Removing the Roof Box and Spare Tire🔩
We began by carefully removing the roof box and the spare tire mounted on the rear door🙌
We handled every tool with extreme care to avoid scratching the precious body of the brand-new vehicle⚠️
This also gave us the opportunity to thoroughly inspect areas that cannot normally be cleaned, including the roof box mounting points and the spare tire mounting section👀
Even the removal process itself requires experienced technical skill🔧
Step 2: Gentle Cleaning with Snow Foam☁️🫧
Once the components had been removed, we began the washing process✨
To protect the delicate paintwork of a brand-new vehicle, our shop uses a special washing method involving snow foam❄️
Snow foam is a washing technique that covers the entire vehicle in fine, dense foam🫧
The foam gently lifts contamination away from the surface, allowing the vehicle to be cleaned without scratching the paintwork.
We carefully covered every part of the Jimny Nomade’s distinctive body lines in soft, fluffy foam☁️✨
Using water heated to approximately 40°C together with a dedicated car shampoo allowed us to remove oily residue and contamination effectively♨️
Suzuki paintwork is relatively delicate, making this gentle washing method especially suitable👌
Step 3: Thorough Iron Contamination Removal🧪✨
After washing, we used a dedicated iron remover to chemically break down the iron particles bonded to the body💥
When the iron remover was applied, it reacted with the particles and changed to a purple color🟣
This reaction allows even iron contamination that is difficult to see with the naked eye to be removed thoroughly✨
Saitama Prefecture, particularly the Kuki, Fukaya, Kumagaya, and Chichibu areas, is located near industrial zones, making iron contamination a serious concern😰
Removing it properly while the vehicle is still new helps prevent rust from developing in the future🛡️
Step 4: Thorough Mineral Scale Removal💧
Next, we used a dedicated scale remover to eliminate water spots and mineral deposits🧴
Even on a brand-new vehicle, mineral scale left behind during pre-delivery washing or storage can be surprisingly stubborn😤
Using a dedicated chemical allows us to selectively remove the scale without damaging the paintwork✨
Completing this stage carefully also allows us to minimize the amount of polishing required in the following process👍
Step 5: Minimum Necessary Paint Correction🪞
For areas that could not be completely corrected with iron remover or scale remover, we used a professional polishing machine and compounds to carry out only the minimum necessary paint correction⚙️
Because the vehicle was new, the paint thickness was still sufficient.
However, that does not mean the paint should be polished more than necessary🙅♂️
Considering that the customer plans to enjoy their Jimny Nomade for many years, we carefully polished only the areas that genuinely required correction.
Storage marks and fine traces of mineral scale were completely removed using the minimum necessary polishing🙌
The Jimny Nomade’s paintwork gradually began to reveal a mirror-like shine🪞✨
Step 6: Trial Coating Installation💎

We therefore applied a dedicated coating designed specifically for unpainted plastic trim🧴

Step 8: Reinstalling the Roof Box and Spare Tire🔩
Once every coating process had been completed, we carefully reinstalled the roof box and spare tire that had been removed earlier🙌
We handled this stage with the same level of care to avoid scratching the freshly coated bodywork⚠️
Every bolt was tightened to the correct torque specification, completing the vehicle in perfect condition🔧✨

ディーラーで保管されている間に、納車前の洗車や、カバーの擦れなどで微細な傷がついてしまうのです。

さらに、ボディ表面には鉄粉が付着していました。新車でも輸送中に鉄粉は付着します⚠️

由于车辆交付时间不长，因此几乎没有明显划痕。
不过，从专业角度进行检查后，我们还是发现了几个新车特有的问题🔍
首先，可以看到一些在车辆从工厂运输至经销商，或存放期间产生的细小运输及保管划痕。
这种情况在新车上十分常见😅
车辆在经销商存放期间，可能会因为交车前洗车，或保护车罩与车漆摩擦等原因，产生细小划痕。
【铁粉及水垢附着💦】
此外，车身表面还附着了铁粉。
即使是新车，在运输过程中也可能附着铁粉⚠️
埼玉县内距离工业区较近，因此无论是久喜市、深谷还是熊谷地区，铁粉污染问题都不能忽视。
我们还发现了水垢及污渍沉积形成的矿物质残留💧
这些问题可能来自交车前洗车时使用的自来水，其中的矿物质没有被完全擦除，也可能是在车辆存放期间附着的污渍造成的。
