When we inspected the vehicle closely, several problems became apparent.

A Thorough Installation Process Only a Specialist Can Provide
Step 1: Completely Resetting the Vehicle with a Pure-Water Hand Wash
The first stage is a thorough pure-water hand wash.
You may wonder, “Does a new vehicle really need to be washed?”
However, it is essential to properly remove the deteriorated areas of the existing coating layer, together with the contamination that has accumulated on top of it.

We use pure water with the minerals removed, helping prevent new water spots from forming.
🔹 Warm-Water Washing
By heating the pure water, we can more effectively remove contamination containing oily residue.
🔹 Careful Hand Washing
A large minivan such as the Vellfire has an extensive body surface, making it a demanding task to clean every area thoroughly. However, we never compromise and carefully wash every panel.
Door handles, side mirrors, front grille, wheel arches... No detail is overlooked🧽
Step 2: Removing the Existing Coating
The next important stage is removing the deteriorated existing coating layer.
If this process is skipped and a new coating is applied directly on top, adhesion problems may occur and the same issues could develop again.
Using a dedicated coating-removal product, we carefully removed the old coating layer.
This process requires suitable pressure and the correct technique to avoid damaging the paintwork. It is a stage where professional expertise truly matters🔍
Step 3: Thorough Mineral Scale Removal
Once the existing coating had been removed, mineral scale that had been hidden beneath it became visible.
Mineral scale consists of minerals contained in rainwater and tap water that crystallize on the body surface. In this case, it had gradually accumulated beneath the dealer-applied coating.
Using a dedicated scale remover, we carefully eliminated the mineral deposits from the entire body.

Selecting chemicals that do not place unnecessary stress on the body
Working evenly to prevent inconsistent results
Refusing to compromise until the deposits are completely removed
Step 4: Iron Particle Removal and Clay-Bar Treatment
When touching the body surface, we could feel a rough texture.
This was caused by iron particles—tiny fragments of metal dispersed from sources such as railways, factories, and brake dust.
These particles also needed to be removed thoroughly.

Physically removing bonded particles with a clay bar
After this process, the body surface became smooth to the touch💎
Step 5: Creating the Perfect Foundation Through Degreasing
By this stage, the body had become considerably cleaner. However, oily residue still remained.
Using a dedicated degreasing agent, we thoroughly treated the entire body.
If oil remains on the surface, the coating cannot bond correctly and may deteriorate prematurely. This is another stage where cutting corners is never acceptable.
Step 6: Refining the Paintwork with Light Polishing
As the final stage of surface preparation, we performed light polishing.
Due to the dealer coating applied when the vehicle was new, fine marks and slight unevenness remained across the paint surface. We corrected these issues through light polishing.
Using a fine polishing compound and correcting only the minimum amount necessary, we achieved:
A smoother paint surface
The ideal foundation for deep gloss
Maximum possible coating adhesion
This created the perfect base for the next stage🌟
Step 7: Applying GARACORT BASE Coating
We then moved on to the long-awaited application of GARACORT BASE coating!
After such thorough surface preparation, the body was fully prepared to accept the coating and allow it to perform at its maximum potential.
