The owner of a Toyota Camry visited us from Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, and we carried out a pure-water hand wash together with removal of stubborn water spots bonded to the body.
The Kumagaya area is well known for its intense sunlight and extreme heat, creating conditions where water droplets can dry quickly after washing.
For that reason, we are receiving an increasing number of enquiries such as:

◆ Condition Before the Service
When we inspected the body under dedicated lighting before beginning the work, we found multiple cloudy white ring-shaped water spots across the grille, roof, hood, and upper surface of the trunk.
Unlike linear car-wash scratches, these marks had become bonded to the surface in circular patterns, making them difficult to remove through washing alone.
Because summer temperatures in Kumagaya are extremely high, water can dry very quickly after washing. The minerals left behind can then become bonded to the paint surface, which is one of the main causes of this type of contamination.
The customer regularly washes the vehicle, but tap water contains minerals such as calcium. If drying is delayed or the water evaporates under direct sunlight, these mineral deposits can easily remain as water spots.
While explaining the condition to the customer, we advised them that:
・The marks would be difficult to remove through washing alone
・They could be removed using a method that minimizes stress on the paintwork
・Coating and regular maintenance can help reduce the likelihood of them returning
After hearing the explanation, the customer felt comfortable leaving the work to us💪
Unlike ordinary water, pure water contains almost no mineral content, so there is very little risk of creating new water spots during the washing process.
Using a dedicated shampoo designed to be gentle on the body, we carefully washed the vehicle from top to bottom.
After washing, we once again identified the areas where water spots remained and treated them individually using a dedicated acidic cleaner.
Rather than grinding or polishing away the water spots, the cleaner chemically breaks down only the contamination itself, helping minimize damage to the paintwork and clear coat.
The cleaner was applied section by section, allowing the correct amount of dwell time for each area.
Once the deposits were completely removed, we rinsed the area with pure water and inspected it again under dedicated lighting.
We repeated this process panel by panel, taking the necessary time to ensure that even the smallest areas were not overlooked.
As we gently wiped the surface with a microfiber cloth, the white mineral deposits gradually disappeared and the paint regained its deep, mirror-like reflections.
For us as technicians, this is one of those satisfying moments when we can genuinely feel:
After the service, the Camry’s body regained a deep gloss with crisp reflections of the surrounding scenery.
The grille in particular had been an area where the water spots were especially noticeable, so the customer was very pleased with the result.

本次，一位来自埼玉县熊谷市的丰田Camry车主来到本店，我们为车辆进行了纯水手工洗车，并清除牢固附着在车身上的水渍。
熊谷地区以强烈阳光及高温天气闻名，洗车后水滴也非常容易迅速干燥。
因此，最近我们收到越来越多类似的咨询：
“因为是黑色车，水渍看起来特别明显……”
“明明洗过车，却还是能看到白色痕迹。”
本次Camry也正是存在这样的烦恼💦
◆ 施工前的车辆状态
施工前，我们使用专用灯光检查车身，发现进气格栅、车顶、发动机盖及后备厢上方都存在多处发白、呈圆环状的水渍。
这些痕迹并不像洗车划痕那样呈线状，而是以圆形方式牢固附着，因此仅靠普通洗车已经很难彻底清除。
熊谷夏季气温非常高，洗车后水分很容易快速干燥，残留的矿物质就可能牢固附着在车漆表面，这是形成这类水渍的重要原因之一。
客户平时也会进行洗车，不过自来水中含有钙等矿物质。如果擦干速度较慢，或者水分在阳光直射下自然蒸发，就很容易留下这类水渍。
我们一边向客户说明车辆状态，一边告知：
・仅靠洗车很难彻底去除
・可以采用尽量不给车漆造成负担的方法进行处理
・通过镀膜及定期维护，可以降低再次出现的可能性

埼玉県熊谷市よりトヨタ・カムリのオーナー様にお越しいただき、純水手洗い洗車と、ボディに固着した水シミ（ウォータースポット）の除去施工を行いました。
熊谷エリアは強い日差しと暑さが有名な地域でもあり、洗車後に水滴が残りやすい環境。そのため「黒い車だから余計に水シミが目立つ…」「洗っても取れない白いシミが見える」といったご相談が増えています💦
今回お預かりしたカムリも、まさにそんなお悩みをお持ちでした。
◆ 施工前の状態
施工前のボディを専用ライトで確認すると、グリル、ルーフ、ボンネット、トランク上面に白く濁ったリング状の水シミが複数確認できました。
洗車キズのように線状ではなく、円を描くように白く固着していたため、洗車だけでは落としきれない状態。熊谷の夏は気温が高いため、洗車後に水分が乾きやすく、それが塗装にミネラル成分として固着してしまうのが大きな原因です。
また、普段から洗車をされているとのことでしたが、水道水にはカルシウムなどのミネラルが含まれており、拭き上げが遅れたり、直射日光下で乾いたりすると、どうしてもこうした水シミが残ってしまいます。
お客様には状態をご説明しながら、
・洗車だけでは除去が難しい
・塗装に負担をかけない方法で除去できる
・コーティングやメンテナンスで再発しにくくできる
といったご案内を差し上げ、安心して作業をお任せいただきました💪
