Step 2: Cutting and Shaping the Film
Next, we cut and shape the PPF.
Headlights have complex curved surfaces, so the film must be cut accurately and matched precisely to the shape of the headlight.

Use cutting techniques suitable for curved surfaces
Minimize unnecessary film waste
At our shop, we use dedicated plotters and cutting tools to cut the film with millimeter-level precision.

Step 3: Preparing the Installation Solution
A dedicated installation solution is used when applying PPF.
The solution helps to:
Temporarily allow the film to slide across the surface
Make positioning and adjustment easier
Reduce the formation of air bubbles
We prepared the solution at the appropriate concentration and filled a spray bottle, ready for installation💧
Step 4: Applying the PPF
We then began the PPF application process.
This is the stage that requires the highest level of technical skill. Applying film to the complex curves of a headlight without creating wrinkles or air bubbles requires advanced expertise and experience.

Spraying the Installation Solution
The installation solution is sprayed onto both the headlight surface and the adhesive side of the film.
Initial Film Placement
The film is temporarily positioned on the headlight and carefully aligned.
Removing Water with a Squeegee
Using a dedicated squeegee, we push the installation solution and air outward from the center.
Bonding the Film to Curved Surfaces
Around the curved sections of the headlight, we carefully soften the film using a heat gun while allowing it to conform closely to the surface.
Finishing the Edges
The edges of the film are carefully finished to create a result that is resistant to lifting and peeling.

Controlling the heat-gun temperature, as excessive heat can overstretch the film
Adjusting squeegee pressure, as excessive force may damage the film
Carefully following the curved surfaces to prevent wrinkles

Step 5: Checking and Correcting Air Bubbles and Wrinkles
After applying the film, we carefully inspected it for any remaining air bubbles or wrinkles.
If bubbles remain, we respond without compromise:
Small bubbles: Push them out using a squeegee
Large bubbles: Lift the film and apply it again
During this installation, we repeatedly checked even the smallest details to achieve the best possible result✨
Step 6: Finishing and Drying
The final stage involved:
Trimming away excess film
Performing a final inspection of the edges
Wiping down the surface
We then allowed the appropriate amount of time for the film to bond and dry completely.
We also explained to the customer, “Please avoid washing the vehicle for several days after installation”🕐
