【Condition Before Installation】
We began by carefully inspecting the vehicle.
The BMW M4 is a popular high-performance sports car that combines an aggressive presence with premium refinement🚗
On the Cabriolet model in particular, the appearance of the soft top has a major influence on the overall impression of the vehicle.
However, the roof on this vehicle had lost much of its water repellency and was absorbing water rather than repelling it💦
When water was applied, it did not remain on the surface and instead soaked directly into the fabric.
If left untreated, contamination and rain spots can accumulate more easily, potentially contributing to further deterioration of the soft top.
Convertible roofs are also often overlooked during regular car washing, making them particularly susceptible to accumulated contamination.
We first thoroughly reset the fabric surface and prepared it in the best possible condition before applying the coating💪
【Thorough Soft-Top Cleaning】
We began by carefully cleaning the entire soft top.
Sand, dust, pollen, exhaust residue, and other contamination had accumulated across the fabric, so we used a dedicated cleaner to remove it💧
Fabric materials are extremely delicate, and excessive scrubbing may damage the fibers.
We therefore cleaned the roof gently while carefully monitoring the condition of the material.
The narrow gaps and stitched areas were also thoroughly cleaned, restoring the soft top to its original condition🧼

【Drying the Soft Top】
After cleaning, we allowed the soft top to dry thoroughly.
If coating is applied while moisture remains within the fabric, it cannot deliver its full intended performance.

Once the soft top was completely dry, we applied GYEON FabricCoat.

【幌の徹底洗浄】
まずは幌全体を丁寧に洗浄していきます。
幌表面には砂ぼこりや花粉、排気ガス汚れなどが蓄積しているため、専用クリーナーを使用して汚れを除去していきます💧
ファブリック素材は非常に繊細なため、強く擦りすぎると生地を傷めてしまう可能性があります。
そのため、生地の状態を確認しながら優しく丁寧に洗浄していきます。

【幌の乾燥作業】
洗浄後は、幌をしっかり乾燥させていきます。
幌内部に水分が残ったままコーティングを施工してしまうと、コーティング性能が十分に発揮されません。
そのため、時間をかけてしっかりと乾燥させ、生地をベストな状態へ整えます💡
特にファブリックコートは、生地へしっかり浸透させることが重要なため、この乾燥工程も非常に大切です。

幌がしっかり乾燥した後は、GYEON FabricCoat（ファブリックコート）を施工していきます。
幌全体へ均一にスプレーし、生地へしっかり浸透させていきます🛡️
